CampusBell RC13 — Main PA Volume Update

Keep Main PA volume within reach on every page: an always-visible volume knob, percentage, step buttons, and mute control. Start at 100%; enable boost explicitly to adjust up to 200%. Changes are saved on the bell computer and applied without restarting playback.

  • Clear saved, applying, applied, offline, and host-update-required status.
  • Smoothed gain changes and a digital peak limiter. Increase gradually; limiting does not protect hearing, amplifiers, or speakers.
  • Includes the prior bell editor/PDF import and animated setup improvements, plus the existing RC13 Network Audio and Android field-test support.
  • Unified setup roles: Main CampusBell System, Windows Network Audio Adapter, or combined. Choose Main CampusBell System to update the bell computer.

Main PA only: Network and Android endpoint volumes are unchanged. A separate remote-control client is not included in this update. Main PA mute also silences paging and emergency audio routed through that output.

Unsigned field-test installer. Microsoft signing, full install/upgrade acceptance, and physical PA acceptance are still pending. Back up your configuration and audio, then install during a maintenance window. This does not replace the recommended Windows download or stable automatic-update feed.
