System Requirements
Confirm the Windows host, network, browser, and audio connection before installing Campus Bell.
Before You Begin
- A dedicated 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11 computer with administrator access.
- A reliable local network connection; wired Ethernet is recommended for the server.
- An available Windows audio output connected to the school amplifier or PA input.
- A current browser on an administrator computer that can reach the Campus Bell server.
Requirements
- Install Campus Bell on the Windows computer that will remain on during the school day.
- Prevent unexpected sleep; Campus Bell enables its reliability setting by default.
- Confirm the Windows clock and time zone are correct.
- Have an approved WAV, MP3, M4A, AAC, or OGG bell file ready.
Expected Result
The host is ready for installation and has a tested physical audio path to the existing PA.
