Audio Output and Existing PA Setup

Connect Campus Bell to the existing school amplifier or PA input and verify the complete signal path.

Before You Begin

Have the PA manufacturer’s approved input details and use an appropriate line-level adapter or isolation device where required.

Steps

  1. Connect the Windows host’s selected audio output to an available PA or amplifier input.
  2. Set the PA input to a low safe level before testing.
  3. Open Media & Paging in Campus Bell.
  4. Run the computer speaker test and gradually raise the PA input level.
  5. Confirm audio is clear in a supervised area, then test the intended campus coverage.

Expected Result

The Dashboard reports the audio output ready and the test tone is heard through the intended PA path.

Troubleshooting

If Campus Bell reports playback but nothing is heard, verify the Windows output device, cable, PA input selection, mute state, and amplifier level. Continue with No audio.
